Botanical Overview

Mesquite (Prosopis juliflora) is a flowering plant in the Fabaceae family. The traditional uses of this species reflect its genuine medicinal value, validated by generations of practical experience. The legume family (Fabaceae) includes trees, shrubs, and herbs that produce pods (legumes) and form nitrogen-fixing root nodules through symbiosis with bacteria. General Description
