Botanical Overview

Cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis l. var. botrytis) is a species in the Brassicaceae family. The mustard family (Brassicaceae) includes herbs with alternate leaves and four-petaled flowers arranged in cross-like clusters. The fruits are typically elongated capsules called siliques.
